Introduction: God’s eternal plan is to ensure that every Christian, (every believer, every disciples) of his, will ultimately be conform to Christlikeness

(Romans 8:29) ²⁹For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; (NASB)

(1 John 3:2) ³Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. (NASB)

We will change “when he appears” so “we shall be like him”, Similar, (in appearance, in character) like manner

Yes, the scripture says, “We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is”, but until then

(Hebrews 12:14) ¹⁴Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. (NIV)
